Saline removal removes only the tattoo pigment. If there is scarring present, that may be shown in the form of redness in the skin that will be left behind after the tattoo has been removed. In some cases, these brows may not be able to be worked over, and if so, powder brows are recommended.

Clients wanting to start with a clean slate, change the shape of their current tattoo, or wanting to be able to see tattooed “hair” strokes again, may choose to have saline lightening performed. This technique uses a digital machine and needle cartridge to insert a saline solution into the tattoo to help break down the pigment and eventually lifting it up and out of the skin. Due to this method of lightening, it may take around 3 sessions to see visible results (if more than 3 sessions may be needed, laser removal is highly suggested as an alternative as this may be more time and cost effective).
Number of sessions: at least 3 to see visible results or more depending on age, depth, and color of the tattoo.
Duration: 1-1.5 hours
